Not every solar site starts with a perfectly level platform.

This 573kW ground-mounted solar project at Castle Hill, for GW Power, built across active agricultural land with 3.5 metres of level variation, hard ground conditions, and ongoing farming operations.

Rather than relying on cut-and-fill earthworks, RADIX designed and delivered a fully integrated foundation and racking solution using 356 ground screws and a bespoke 4inL SolarMount system. The result was a robust, level array supporting 1,260 solar panels, completed a week ahead of programme.

It's another example of how combining foundation engineering with structural design can simplify delivery, reduce environmental impact, and keep renewable energy projects moving.
