Kilmac Limited

Great to support Lewis last week during his placement with Kilmac.

Over the course of the week, Lewis spent time working alongside our site team, gaining hands-on experience in setting out, surveying, as-builts, QA processes and using equipment such as the GPS Rover and Trimble Total Station. He also developed his understanding of AutoCAD, rebar drawings, specifications and how works are delivered on site.

The feedback from site has been excellent:
“Lewis has taken to engineering and site work incredibly well. He became self-sufficient in setting out right off the bat and got along really well with all the team on site.”

At Kilmac, supporting early careers and giving young people real site experience is a key part of our social value commitment, helping build confidence, develop skills and inspire the next generation of engineers.

A huge well done to our Kilmac team who took on the Tough Mudder challenge on Saturday in support of BBS UK.

Thankfully, the weather held up, making for a brilliant day and an even better experience for everyone involved.

We're incredibly proud to share that the team raised over £1,500 for BBS UK, helping to support the important work they do and making a real difference.

Thank you to everyone who donated, supported and encouraged the team along the way.

A fantastic effort by all involved and a great example of the Kilmac team spirit both on and off site. 👏
