Winter Projects

Quite a range of projects completed over the latter part of 2023:
- Dig out and laying of concrete paving slabs to match existing to provide a hard-wearing patio area in front of a customer's summer house in Finningley.
- Dig out and laying of concrete slab base for summer house in Worksop to be erected, then painting of the summer house and installation of some raised privacy trellis to complete customer's requirements.
- Installation of approximately 30m of fencing using customer's existing wooden panels together with long-lasting concrete posts and gravel boards for a cost-effective fencing project in Bawtry.
- Replacing existing floor tiles with a much improved "chessboard" effect in the entrance porch to Ward Brothers carpet shop in Doncaster.

Together with several garden maintenance jobs, the winter has been busy so far!

Replacement Decking Project

Fantastic project replacing some decking that was past it's best with a lovely Kandla Grey stone patio edged with sleepers to fit precisely into the existing artificial lawn. Flamenco decorative stone and bespoke lighting added to create a great social area for the customer to enjoy!

- Decking removed and disposed of (without additional cost of skip)
- Levels increased with Type 1 MOT
- Sleepers installed in line with existing garden context
- Existing surrounds cleaned and painted to match original situation
- Kandla Grey Indian Sandstone laid, with ark grey resin grout to finish
- Decorative stone and pillar solar lighting installed to create a relaxing environment for socialising.

Summer Projects - double ended garden project!

Full conversion of a garden at both ends with a subtle Raj Green Indian Sandstone patio created, edged with natural sleepers and a Forest Green decorative stone at one end and a low-maintenance bark area, edged with natural sleepers and containing a weather-proof shed at the other.
- existing tarmac patio area removed and utilised as hard-core base reducing costs for customer
- two-tier patio created to incorporate garden gate and sentimental border area
- gate and removable fence constructed to complete finish around existing conservatory
- lawn repaired and levelled with surplus turf, and borders created at either side to create a separate planting area
- rotten, wooden shed removed and replaced with low-maintenance shed
- wasted, overgrown space in garden replaced with neat and tidy decorative bark edged with natural sleepers with convenient path for garden equipment to be brought out easily and without obstacles

Summer Projects

It's been a busy summer, so little posted recently, but here are a few of the projects completed. The first was a collapsed set of steps and old bamboo patch refurbished with a lovely set of sleeper steps that can be used for pots as well as access.
- 20mm pea gravel added to tidy and cover broken paving
- small decorative wooden gate added to side of property
- existing patio re-laid to remove potential trip hazards
