Level Up Training

You mostly see the successes on pages like my own, it's a rare thing to see us talk about the disappointments. It happens unfortunately. My student and I have worked all week to get to Friday and be as ready as possible for test. But on this occasion, an uncharacteristic mistake at a roundabout has cost him that pass. Frustrating for both of us as he really has driven extremely well all week. He will now be dwelling on what might have been and reliving that moment at the roundabout over and over again. I feel their pain just as much as their joy when they pass. And he will pass.

On an unrelated matter, what's with all the chuffing caravans. I've told you lot before, travel through the night. 😂

Another journey has come to an end today, and as a result, here is Oleg proudly showing off his C+E pass certificate and his Mod 4 certificate. So a massive well done Oleg, our perseverance has paid off and you have achieved your goals.

There are always barriers in the way that need to be overcome to achieve your goals, and finding a way through them can sometimes be quite challenging for both student and instructor. The biggest one here was language. Although Oleg speaks English quite well, sometimes the finer details of what I was asking of him were lost in translation. Google translate and my primitive form of sign language seems to have done the trick.

Whatever barriers we come across, I will never give up and always try my best to get us through. These are the passes that I find the most rewarding, the ones that make me get all my tools of the trade out. Afterwards though, I usually need a really long sleep. 😂
