Lovely 2.0 pinto complete with twin 45 Delorto carbs for sale.
£1,900 collected from Ripley, Derbyshire.
146bhp dyno and the 205 block.

This is a customer’s car, and the pinto set-up is coming out and being replaced with a Zetec turbo engine…as such, most of the pinto bits are now surplus to requirements. Would prefer to sell as a complete package, but will consider breaking at later date if she doesn’t sell.
The engine will be kept in the car up to the point of it being sold, so it can be seen running first hand if required..
HOWEVER, if the engine is not sold by the 9th October (or thereabouts), I will be taking it out the car as it will be time to to fit the newly build zetec engine.

I can send you a video of the engine running if required.

I have limited information on the engine other than what I can see;
*Desirable 205 block
*Rolling road paperwork showing 112bhp at wheels, 146bhp at the engine.
*Not a drip of oil anywhere - such a clean engine.
*Shortened sump with extra oil capacity added back in on the width.
*Vernier cam pulley (possibly means uprated cam but unsure at this stage as I don’t want to start stripping this engine to find out).
*accuspark coil pack, I think the dizzy maybe accuspark but not sure until the engine is out.
*Facet cube fuel pump,

This engine revs so easily, leading me to also wondering if it’s a lightened flywheel that is fitted…we will know for sure when it’s taken out the car.

The quality of this engine build is superb and I’m certain there’s going to be other upgrades that we just don’t know about until engine is out and we can have a proper look at it.

*Fuel pump, regulator, pressure garage and filter

Things not included in this sale;
*The Exhaust - this is available for sale separately - suits tiger avon..
*The starter motor - can be sold separate.
*The radiator, fan, all hoses etc…as these are being used for the zetec.
*The throttle cables (all linkage included, just not the cables back to the pedal as I will be reusing for zetec).
*Breather tank and hoses (being reused).
*Radiator header tank
*Engine mounts
