Hailing from Norwich Alpha Omega pride themselves on a back to basics, no nonsense style of playing focusing on speed, aggression and attitude. Formed in December 2014, Alpha Omega was originally a four piece with Danny on vocals, Charlie on guitar, Iain on drums and Toby on bass. This soon changed when Toby left. D
anny then picked up bass duties along with vocals. In August 2015 Alpha Omega banged out a 7 track live demo in one take, without practicing for over a month, at Future Studios, Norwich. Shortly after this was the first gig supporting English Dogs (metal). Alpha Omega continued to practice and gig but struggled with continuity. In January 2017 Iain stepped down from drums to focus on family commitments. Toby then re-joined but this time to help out with drum duties for a while. We now have old friend Rich, who we have played with in various bands before, picking up the sticks. This now gives us a chance to hone our sound and really deliver what is true to our hearts. In 2018 we entered M2TM and only ended making it through to play on the Jägermeister stage!! We banged out another 3 track live demo with Rich ahead of our appearance at Bloodstock 2018 as free give away's on the day. Bloodstock was only our 9th gig and first out of town gig. Such an awesome experience!!! After Bloodstock we set about recording our debut album. This was recorded and mixed by Peter Fellowes at Plug Studios, Norwich. Self released in May 2019 to awesome reviews and a slew of gigs and merch. Obviously, Covid-19 and lockdown was a dick but we continued to write new material remotely. As things started to ease, gigs picked up with us headline many local gigs and growing our following.
2021 saw us go back into the studio with Peter Fellowes at the helm again, to record our Crows of Golgotha EP. To accompany this we did our very first video, all done by our fair hands. On Good Friday 2022, Crows of Golgotha became available for human consumption. Crows is getting some awesome reviews and is available now on Spotify, Bandcamp, YouTube, BigCartel etc. Hoping to use this as a spring board to spread our wings and play gigs across the country.
