As such, SPACE will not re-invent any wheels or duplicate any existing activities, but rather act as a sign-post and facilitator to encourage women to get in touch with those they need. Rivers Resource SPACE for women is therefore a contact point and facilitator for women who need access to these services, but who cannot reach them themselves, because of language problems, information accessibility problems or because they lack the confidence or encouragement from those around them, to approach them directly. SPACE seeks to empower women to achieve their ambitions and will also run a series of workshops and events focused on subjects that attract the most interest amongst its networks.
