Global IT Outage - Banks, shops, hospitals, GP's and flights among things affected by the 'defect' in Crowdstrike's recent software update.

Earlier today a mass IT outage affected many cloud services around the world. The outage has been caused by a data update to some Cyber-security software from Crowdstrike. These issues are currently being worked on and hopefully the affected systems will be corrected soon.

If you find that you are being impacted there is little you can do at this time other than to avoid the system causing issue or turn off your computer until a resolution is in place.

Many systems are beginning to return to normal service but it might take some hours for everything to resume correctly
