LACE will enable services such as childcare to be delivered locally, encouraging people to remain in and work in the rural area. LACE will also provide work experience opportunities and participation for volunteer workers. It aims to provide local people with skills, capabilities and confidence which will enhance employment prospects. LACE aims to create jobs for people who would otherwise be unemployed; providing vital services for people who might not access them otherwise; protecting the environment and reinvesting surpluses back into community projects.
