Curtain down, pumpkin parked, glass slippers safely back in their box. Today marked the final two performances of our Cinderella pantomime after a sparkling week that glittered brighter than the Fairy Rockmother’s wand

From Jamie Sheerman our Director and Writer’s imagination, Julie Howard the Choreographers amazing routines and Karen Staton the Wardrobe Coordinator's creativity, Arran Pallan our associate producer's vision to our brilliant Cast, Dance Captain, Backstage Crew headed by Andrew Morris, Chaperones, Volunteers and Parents (too many to mention but they know who they are), this show was a ballroom powered by teamwork. Without all of you, Cinderella would still be sweeping the hearth instead of stealing the spotlight!

Our audiences have been a dream. Their cheers, laughter, boos for the baddies and those fabulous standing ovations made every rehearsal, every step-ball-change and every quick-change feel like pure magic. We are so grateful for the wonderful comments and glowing feedback that you have shared with us.

To our patrons, new and returning, thank you for buying a ticket to the ball and joining the story. You helped make the theatre feel truly enchanted.

Last night’s snow and rain put on quite a show, and we know a few places around town hit the pause button today, however, we are excited to confirm that tonight’s performance of Cinderella at the Warwick Arts Centre is still going ahead!

The roads into campus are mostly clear and traffic is moving steadily. Between the car park and the theatre there may still be pockets of snow and slush, so give yourself a little extra time and tread with care.

Bundle up, travel safely, and we’ll provide the panto magic to brighten this frosty day. Curtain up awaits!
