Ladybug Lodge

Our PMLD group concluded its 4 week trial this Monday and we’re are pleased to announce that the group will be returning in September as a permanent feature of our Term Time Sessions!

It’s been lovely to meet lots of families at these sessions and talk about how their children/young people would best be supported, what activities they prefer and how we can support them to feel safe and included at sessions!

Sessions will resume in September, running weekly on a Monday afternoon from 12:15pm - 2:15pm at Wood Side Family Hub 🐞

Summer Provision 2026!

We're pleased to announce our Summer 2026 provision! Sessions are hosted in Coventry at two venues, Tiverton School (CV3) and Nettle Hill (CV7)

Our PMLD Group on a Monday afternoon is getting busier each week!

It has been lovely to get to know lots of new families and enjoy sensory activities together and time in the sensory room! We have also had some visits from local portage workers and SEND early years teachers which has been really beneficial for out families!

Thanks to generous donations from other Ladybug Lodge families, we have also been able to provide specialist seating at our sessions - a Tomato Floor Seat and a Tumble Form Seat - which has opened up opportunities for the children to access activities on the floor and at the table!

Our last session before the Summer is on Monday 6th of July, we would love for you to join us!

Summer Holiday Booking Information:

With the Summer Holidays rapidly approaching, we are pleased to announce bookings will be live on Friday 3rd of July at 12pm!

We have lots of activities on offer this summer:
Stay and Play
Swimming
Forest School
Dance - provided by Off Balance Dance
Open Theatre

HAF bookings:
There are limited spaces available through Coventry HAF which can be booked via EEQU
Warwickshire HAF bookings will be available via the Ladybug Lodge website as normal on Friday 3rd of July

CANCELLED SESSIONS:

All sessions from Wednesday 24th of June to Thursday 25th of June are cancelled due to the extreme heat.

Families who were booked onto sessions will be contacted regarding moving bookings over.

SWIMMING LESSONS: CANCELLED

Please note: All swimming lessons are cancelled this weekend due to pool fault.

We had a lovely afternoon with some of our Early Years Families at Copeswood Miniature Railway as part of their Joan’s Day!

A huge thank you to Copeswood Miniature Railway for the invitation to their annual Joan’s Day where their volunteers provide 2 days of access for local SEND schools and community groups! 🚂

Coventry HAF Summer Bookings:

Families who are eligible for Coventry HAF will have the opportunity to book Summer sessions on Thursday 18th of June at 4pm.

Bookings will be processed through EEQU with a direct booking link available via our website.

Stay and Play & Exclusive Swimming sessions are available but very limited. We encourage families to book as soon as possible to ensure you do not miss out.

If you are unsure if you are eligible, please create an account on EEQU and Coventry City Councils HAF team will run an eligiblity check.
