There is huge uncertainty with the future of the Standard Triumph club building. The very last building on the Fletch site. It features on so many period photos including here from the carpark of The Kremlin, office block. A period aerial photo shows The Kremlin (6), the clubhouse (9) and the whole Fletch South site, mid sixties.
The ‘Recreation Pavillion’ to give it it’s introduction name was first opened on Tuesday 12th July, 1932 by His Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester.
We have the plans and details of the official opening in our archives and will add them in due course.
