Sweet Tooth Dessert Shop
Job description:
Prepare and be responsible for the distribution of ice cream, milkshakes, doughnuts, waffles and coffee. Provide customer service, cash handling and take responsibility for the general inventory, cleanliness and appearance of the sweet tooth dessert shop.
Salary: National minimum wage
Essential requirements:
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Outgoing, friendly and positive personality
• Good customer service skills
• Able to work alone or in a small team environment
• Work on feet in a moderate paced environment for hours at a time
• Full or part-time hours available (shop opening times 3pm - 10pm - working hours to be discussed if candidate successful)
• Previous cash handling experience preferable
• Previous food handling experience preferable
Essential Job Duties:
• Provide efficient, friendly and excellent customer service
• Prepare and serve ice cream, baked goods and coffee
• Restock ice cream, supplies and merchandise as necessary
• Prepare orders correctly within company guidelines
• Learn to properly operate till and accept and process payments (both cash, debit/credit), and provide correct change
• Wipe down tables and surfaces with proper sanitation procedures throughout the day
• Follow proper opening and closing procedures including cleaning at the end of the night
• Must be able to be trained in proper food handling techniques
• Follow all procedures, policies and guidance regarding organisational health and safety as set by sweet tooth and also other food safety guidelines and regulations
Other responsibilities:
• All other duties as assigned by the manager
