ক্ষমতাচ্যুত লেবার কাউন্সিলর কভেন্ট্রি সাউথের এমপি জারা সুলতানাকে 'জবরদখলকারী' বলে আখ্যা দিয়েছেন এবং পরবর্তী সাধারণ নির্বাচনে প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতা করার ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করেছেন। বৃহস্পতিবারের স্থানীয় নির্বাচনের পর কভেন্ট্রি সিটি কাউন্সিলে নিজের আসন হারানো জিম ও'বয়েল বলেছেন, তাঁর 'কাজ চালিয়ে যাবার পূর্ণ ইচ্ছা' রয়েছে এবং তিনি কভেন্ট্রি সাউথ আসনে লেবার পার্টির প্রার্থী হতে চান।
An ousted Labour councillor has called Coventry South MP Zarah Sultana a "squatter" as he announced his intention to stand in the next general election.
Jim O'Boyle, who lost his seat on Coventry City Council after Thursday's local election, said he had "every intention of carrying on" and wanted to become Labour's candidate for the Coventry South Seat.
