Our Wonky Textiles Group 🧡πŸͺ‘spent the Summer term sewing up a storm in order to raise funds to support their future textile projects.
They spent last Saturday in sunshine selling their perfectly imperfect stitching at West Bergholt Village Fete 2026 and are pleased to announce that they made £187.50! 🀩

We are extremely proud of all of their hard work producing so many lovely items to sell and especially proud of Abbie who ran the stall with confidence and a welcoming smile😊

Thanks to ART volunteers Rachel & Jackie for all the support and guidance they give to the group, they are inspirational ✨✨

ARTπŸ’š staff & participants volunteered with Wormingford Parish Council this week

The Parish Path Partnership volunteers were out again today. We installed a new way marker post on the path from Sandy Hill to Lodge Hill. The new post will make the entrance of the path to the small thicket, much more visible than before. The path itself was cut back and several small stumps acting as trip hazards were removed. In this the Volunteers were assisted by some staff and students from ART and our thanks to them for the help.

Great to have Colne Radio - Finding Your Voice back at ARTπŸ“»πŸŽ§πŸ€©

Today we were back at Abberton Rural Training (ART) to kick-start a new series of radio skills training with their adult SEND group.
The learners told us they would like to focus on learning music presentation; making jingles and promos; and building confidence in speaking, so we have tailored this course accordingly.
Both Colne Radio and ART are funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and by working together we are having a much greater impact on those who most need support.
