Our Director Julie Estall and Office Manager Jade Hamilton-Jackson attended the St Helena Hospice £50 challenge Awards, celebrating all the companies that participated in raising a massive £18,000 for the charity. Julie and Jade were delighted to receive both our award for Bright’s participation along with a surprise Best Newcomer award! We are so proud of our team for all the effort and enthusiasm for the initiative and delighted to have been able to contribute to this much needed service. Already planning for 2025’s challenge celebrating 40 years of St Helena!

With only another 10 days before the start our fundraising events for St Helena, our raffle prizes have started to make their way into the office. A big thank you to Swann School of Dance, Hotpod Yoga Colchester Curve Water Sports and Mini Swimming for their generous prizes, also No Name Bar & games for not only a raffle prize but also donating the Karaoke room free of charge. Having dressed the Christmas trees and hung the decorations yesterday it brought to mind how we Bright Selection can support families in our community who sadly may not be looking forward to Christmas quite as much as we are. With that in mind this year we will again be supporting The Next Chapter Colchester by sourcing and donating the items most needed by the woman and children that they so tirelessly support, please see the link below. We will be collating all donated items at our office in Colchester and on Friday 13th December we will hand them over to The Next Chapter.
