We’re going to wear red, walk a mile and make a difference for families facing grief with the Ruth Strauss Foundation on Saturday 27th September ♥️

Anyone else want to join? Kids under 11 go for free, everyone gets a medal, and there’s a Wellness Festival to join afterwards.

April: stress recognition into de-stress action.

As the month draws to a close, and we evaluate the impact we’ve made for others and ourselves, I wanted to share this testimonial from a client for whom I feel I contributed to their stress alleviation.

Stress takes all forms and comes from many sources. If we can identify factors one by one and start picking them off we can work towards experiencing a calmer, more focused existence in both personal and business lives.

Stress can become overwhelming and consuming if it's not managed.

Identifying your stressors can be a really helpful task (this can be applied to personal and/or business life)…

𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻.

- Give each item a number, ranking them in order of stress according to the most prominent, with 1 being the biggest stress point.

- Focus only on number 1; identify your feelings around it and what it is that makes it feel stressful. This will help to put it into perspective, which will ultimately move you into the next stage more easily: solution.

- The action of going through the process will allow you access to your personal toolkit where you can start to explore options using your own resources, and find your solution or management preference, or identify actions to get you there.

Do this as often as you feel is helpful.
