NLR Rnd3 - Donington National.
Awesome effort from the team this eventful weekend. The original line up was back in action.
We qualified P29 which was P8 in class. Running a four man team for the 5hr/700km race was the best line up for us doing 35-40 min stints each, well that was the plan.
I had a bit of an off in the first Newcomer 1000 race preceding the endurance race which resulted in the bike being retired for the weekend. On top of that I’d had quite a long concussion, apparently, so that’s me out for two weeks. Also sore everywhere but it could’ve been so much worse. The RST airbag suit, along with all the rest of my kit saved major injuries so there’s a positive in there, somewhere. I can’t thank the trackside marshals and medical staff enough, absolutely awesome treatment and care 🙏 . I then did pit duties along with Elliot for the race.
Weather was good but did cool down towards the end, finished at 8pm as there were enough red flags to push the race to the full 5hrs. Shane did the start for the first time and did really well. From then on it was a case a balancing out rider track time as best we could around the red flags (5 in total).
We finished P21 and P5 in class which puts us in P5 for the championship.
Thanks again to Elliot Eveson for doing pit board, strategy and transponder changes for 5 hours still with a broken wrist.

NLR Rnd2 - Snetterton 300.
Another solid weekend for the team. The team comprised of me and Mark plus an old friend Gaz Evans as Neil tested positive for Rona and Shane was on holiday.
We qualified P30 which was P9 in class. Running a three man team meant 2x30min stints for each rider. Less pit stops than the last race so less time wasted doing rider changes. This was Gaz’s first time on track for 6 months following an off which had caused some shoulder injuries.
Weather was good and we went 100% into the race. I fluffed the start by leaving my kill switch on so lost places on the start but pushed hard. All riders put in maximum effort and we finished P23 and P7 in class. We are tied in P4 for the championship.
Thanks to Energy clothing stamford and HEL Performance for their support.
Special thanks to Elliot Eveson for doing pit board and transponder changes for 3 hours with a broken wrist. Get well soon mate!!!
The next round is Donington National on the 7th May.

NLR Rnd1 - Silverstone National.
Great result this weekend for the team. We also had a new addition in the form of Neil Needham.
We qualified P35 which was P5 in class. Running a four man team, who weren’t fully race fit, meant 2x22 min stints for each rider. Easier on the rider but an extra 2 pit stops so we we knew we would lose time over the other teams. Despite this, we rallied hard and finished P27 and P4 in class.
A great effort by all and we finished the race with a few lessons to learn for the next round.
We also won the All Novice Cup but it was handed to a Team Rodeo Racing who finished a four laps behind us so we had to see race control to retrieve the trophy.
Thanks to Energy clothing stamford and HEL Performance for their support.
Also thanks to Toni at
No Limits Racing NLR for her sorting the confusion.
