Minister is asked why he expects disabled people to fund their own PIP review engagement events 08/06/2026

Disabled people must be at the heart of decisions about the future of Personal Independence Payment (PIP), but meaningful engagement cannot happen without proper support.

We've written to Disability Minister Sir Stephen Timms to raise concerns about the apparent lack of funding and accessibility support for the Timms Review's proposed 'workshop in a box' engagement programme.

Disabled People's Organisations should not be expected to absorb the costs of delivering engagement on behalf of a government review.
