Rhetorik was created by a group of Cardiff University students who were inspired by underground music and festival culture and an eclectic range of lifestyle influences to create a brand that encourages integrity without compromise on style. We want people who identify with our ethos to wear Rhetorik knowing that it is distinctive and that you are making a statement of style and sustainability with us. Our clothing is ethical as f**k. It is organic and made in an ethically accredited, wind powered factory. The word ‘f**k’ features in our branding because we struggle to resonate with those who have a problem with the word f**k and yet are happy to fuel a consumerism which causes other people and the planet to suffer, such as unfair working conditions in poorer countries, and huge environmental impact from cheap production. It is our way of saying, let’s look at the bigger picture.
