red vulnerable as a result of their own behaviour or the behaviour of others around them
• To engage with children and young people who may be consuming alcohol or other substances, and to offer support and advice in relation to harm reduction
• To reduce the numbers of young people admitted to Accident and Emergency for alcohol, substance misuse or as victims of assault
• To engage with parents and carers to improve responsible parental care and to provide advice in relation to their child’s alcohol use, personal safety and substance misuse
• To signpost children and young people to partner agencies to divert them away from harmful behaviour
• To tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in identified hotspot locations
• To reassure the local communities.
