In honour of my local Polish shop ❤️ Wrapping up with the week 4 theme: Slavic Foodie!
As an immigrant in the UK, I definitely felt at times that the food I grew up eating was weird or even gross, and it took me a while to shake it off. Give me all the pickles, creamy cottage cheese, herring, rye bread, beetroot, forest mushrooms, dill and marjoram, and just about all the garlic you can carry 😤🧄✨
Of course honorary mention goes to pierogi, the dumplings that everyone seems to like and they’re such a nice entry to the Polish cuisine :> Great job, dumplings!
