Several incidents of runaway horses have been reported in recent months.
Campaigners say more needs to be done to protect horses and want the law to change.

“Will the cameras work, probably not!”.
Businesses in Cardiff say new cameras to combat illegal fly-tipping might not be enough to stop the crimes from affecting them.
The latest statistics found that there were more than 42,000 cases of fly-tipping in Wales between April 2023 and March 2024, with 71% involving household waste.
One shop owner told CJS News he clears the rubbish in front of his hardware shop every morning just to allow customers to reach the front door.
Natural Resources Wales are working with the Welsh Government to implement 150 cameras across the country in fly-tipping hot spots.
