Swanmac was thrilled to deliver the blinds installation for Oxford North, a cutting-edge innovation district in the county.
With a strategy aimed at fostering the next generation of breakthrough discoveries in science and technology, Oxford North is designed to be a hub for inventors, investors, and the wider community.
The development spans a million square feet of labs and workspaces, alongside 480 homes and three public parks. Our team was actively involved in the design process with Fletcher Priest Architects for over two years, ensuring that our blinds package complements the architectural vision.
These include:
·1000 custom Swanmac roller blinds all installed into a custom recess or RAL cassette boxes
·Over 150 bottom-up shaped blinds in custom RAL colour to all gable glazing.
·Over 70 fully-enclosed rooflight blinds in custom RAL colour to all rooflight windows.
We were excited to contribute to this landmark project, supporting the creation of a space where innovation, collaboration, and discovery thrive!

We’re pleased to be supporting the Cornerstone development at 45 Beech Street — the City of London’s first co-living scheme, located on the edge of the Barbican and Gold Lane Estates.
This landmark project will deliver 174 co-living homes alongside a wide range of shared amenities, all within a highly sustainable refurbishment of an existing building.
Swanmac will be installing a full blinds and curtains package across the development, supporting comfort, privacy and light control throughout.
