So things have been a bit busy in my "regular" life this year making this weekend my very first market of the year! Lovely to be back at Roath Craft Market today. It's windy outside but it's lovely in here, why not come and see us at the Mackintosh Sports Centre, Keppoch Street, Roath.

19 new and completely unique resin pendants are finally ready!
I've done things a little differently this time...
Rather than drilling through the pendants to hang them (which obscures the design) I''ve instead attached a back mount using a layer of UV resin.
It takes a bit longer but now you can see the full effect!
Better pictures tomorrow in the daylight 🌥️ but I'd love to know what you think 😊

Had a lovely day today at the GW Crafters Late Summer Fair at Goytre Wharf! Thank you to everyone who came and bought something, and great to see a few return customers too!

For those looking for items post fair, I don't have a lot on my Etsy shop (MakesbyLake) at the moment, but if you spotted something you liked feel free to drop me a PM.

My next big fair will be at the Working Men's Hall in November, and the last fair of the year at Goytre Wharf in December. You can still find me at Roath Craft Market the first Saturday of every month.

Goytre Wharf Late Summer Fair

A few things to remember:

👞 The ground is uneven, please where appropriate footwear.
🚗 Parking is £2. This is by the machine in the car park (cash or card) or correct cash only in the overflow field. Some disabled parking on site.
💰 There is no cash point on site. Alot of stallholders have card machines, but not all!
🎅 Christmas is just around the corner, our 60 stalls provide the perfect gift shopping opportunity!

Here we have 7 cute sparkly dinosaurs backed with 300gsm card stock and framed in a 6x4 picture frame.

I'm so chuffed with the way this little experiment has turned out!

I'm planning on doing 2 versions - ones like this in frames without glass, and ones set in box frames.
