Today we celebrate the legacy of Scouting and everything it stands for — adventure, community, and helping young people thrive.

We’re incredibly proud to be volunteers for Merthyr District Scouts, giving our time to create opportunities, build confidence, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Here’s Ken back in 1976, when he achieved his Queen’s Scout Award — and he’s still going strong today as the Group Lead Volunteer for 5th & 6th Merthyr.

Merthyr Scouts continue to be high achievers, with many Queen’s — and now King’s — Scouts proudly following in Ken’s footsteps.

We’re incredibly proud of every volunteer who has given their time and energy over the years to help young people in Merthyr reach their highest awards.

And we’re just as proud of all our young people who put in the dedication, commitment, and passion to achieve them.
