I R I S P R I Z E

So proud to have been given the opportunity to work on such a small part of this film. I made a few of the costumes, very last minute, but I enjoyed every minute of it and can’t wait to fully see the outcome when the film is released.

Excited to see the film and the story being told!

Posted • Last week Iris were busy on set working on a new short film!
Directed by John Sheedy who won the Iris Prize in 2022 for his film Tarneit, this film is made through the £30,000 prize supported by the Michael Bishop Foundation and is our 14th winners production.
It has been lovely to have the Australians over filming in Wales and we are so excited to see the finished film, titled Never Never Never.

This heartfelt tribute honours John Pett’s stained glass gift to Birmingham, Alabama’s 16th Street Baptist Church in 1964, commemorating the tragic killing of four black girls.
