My home help service is designed to meet individual needs, to still give you the independence you hope to keep, yet give you the security and re-assurance to settle and assist with your day. Do you live alone and perhaps go days or even weeks without a visitor and just a 'chat'? Do you struggle around the home, and would love help with shopping or light cooking? Can you no longer drive, and would
love a trip and stroll around the Garden Centre, or just have an 'ear' to share your life stories with, and sit with a companion for a few hours each week? Now in my 40's, having grown up my whole life, with a mum with a disability, it has made me learn that everyone needs "A Helping Hand" in life. To give up an 'office job' and care for her fully in her last weeks of life due to a terminal illness, was the most satisfying and rewarding experience, which I will carry through life. This is where I realised, I want to 'be there', I want to make a difference to someone's day and help, where help is needed. Not everyone can do everything they would like to. My role is simple, to just ease your day, fill it for a while. So, if you, perhaps a parent, grandparent, or even friend or neighbour, feel that I can step in and lighten things, then please call for an informal chat. You may even be like me, a sibling, that has a parent in need, but just cannot be there for the odd 'visit to the Dr' or shopping trip.
