You’ll all be glad to know I’ve sorted my s**t!! Went down to the Lottie yesterday and picked 4 of these beauties ready for ripening at home on the windowsill!.. I’ve also planned to go tomorrow to get the plot looking ready for winter woo hoo!!

Happy as Larry! These apples are called John ‘o’ gold and have the taste of a golden delicious but texture of Granny Smith!

Last ditch attempt… tomatoes in a basket with bananas. We’ve sat these on the windowsill to get some sun and hopefully to ripen. Fingers, toes and p***s crossed! 🤞🏼

As mentioned on this weeks poddy… the weird happenings of our sunflowers! Has anyone else had this happen before?

Can she grow tomatoes?…Nope, can she grow courgettes?…nope, can she grow a birdhouse gourd…yaaas! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

We’re giving this a go because quite frankly there’s no effin room in the freezer!!! Burpees golden beetroot in a jar with water stored in the fridge!… we’ll see how it does!

Harvested calendula for teas and balms, sage for spuds and smudge sticks, thyme and rosemary.. our kitchen staples - all on the rack drying! The smell is insane!!

This year we have given all but two posies away! There’s nothing nicer than surprising a friend or saying thanks with some pretty home grown flowers! It’s the end of the season but we’ve managed to conjure up this little hodgepodge for a neighbour who let family friends park in their drive for a couple of days!

Still at it! One full jar with 3 harvests and one massive harvest out drying! Calendula.. you bloody wonder plant!
