have just completed the installation and commissioning of the fire alarm, CCTV and fire door retainers, in this luxury 24 bedroom hotel extension. We provided our client with a clear zone chart at the panel location, and integrated the fire alarm with their existing system. Due to the number of people sleeping at this site at any one time, we have installed an addressable fire alarm system, in keeping with the current regulations.
Our fire alarm releases the fire floors upon activating, and we have also provided the interface to the lift override. We performed mega tests on our cabling to prove insulation resistance and continuity prior to second fixing, again in line with the current standards.
We also supplied and installed an exceptional high definition IP CCTV System, housed on a shelf within a coms cabinet we provided, allowing room for expansion in the future. We have run cables to various points for future cameras.being a timber building we have ensured to fire proof all of our fixings and used metal fire rated back boxes, where appropriate.
