New Dutch Truck Toll β Important Update (from 1 July 2026)
From 1 July 2026, the Netherlands will introduce a distance-based, COβ-differentiated toll for trucks over 3.5 tonnes, replacing the current Eurovignette system.
The toll applies to motorways, as well as selected provincial (N-roads) and municipal roads, and requires an On-Board Unit (OBU).

Transition:

π Operators must register with a service provider and ensure their OBU is installed and active by 1 July 2026.

*Enforced by ILT and police using ANPR cameras and roadside checks.
