“Stop being patient and start asking yourself, how do I accomplish my 10-year plan in 6 months?”
It's a quote often attributed to Elon Musk.
Whether you like Elon or not is beside the point. There’s a valuable lesson in that mindset.
For years, digital transformation projects were planned over 12, 18, or even 24 months.
Businesses would spend months gathering requirements, writing specifications, procuring systems, and planning implementation phases before seeing any real value.
The challenge is that by the time some projects go live, the business has changed, the market has moved, and the technology landscape looks completely different.
What we're seeing now is very different.
Businesses are asking, "What can we achieve in the next 8 weeks?"
Not because they're cutting corners, but because they're focusing on outcomes rather than timelines.
Instead of trying to transform everything at once, they're building proof of concepts, connecting data, automating one process, solving one pain point, and putting something into the hands of users quickly.
The result?
👌 Real-world feedback instead of assumptions
👌 Live data instead of theoretical reports
👌 Faster adoption from teams
👌 Lower risk and investment upfront
👌 The ability to adapt as the business evolves
In software development, speed doesn't mean being reckless. It means reducing the distance between an idea and a result.
Some of the most successful projects we've worked on didn't start with a grand 2-year transformation programme.
They started with a simple question:
"What is the smallest thing we can build that creates the biggest impact?"
The organisations that will move fastest over the next few years won't necessarily be the biggest or the most funded.
They'll be the ones willing to test, learn, adapt and improve faster than everyone else.
Sometimes the biggest transformation comes from compressing the timeline and challenging what you thought was possible 🤓

What a brilliant weekend celebrating local talent, ambition and achievement 👏
Code Galaxy were proud to attend two fantastic awards evenings, recognising some truly inspiring people and businesses from across our community.
The first was the Blackpool and The Fylde College Apprenticeship Awards, where it was amazing to see so many extraordinary learners being recognised for their hard work, development and achievements.
As a business that has worked closely with the college for many years through placements, apprenticeships and mentoring, it was especially rewarding to see so much talent coming through.
We also had the pleasure of attending the Coastal Radio DAB Local Business Awards at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
With over a thousand people in the room, it was a fantastic celebration of the businesses, entrepreneurs and teams that make our area such a vibrant place to live and work.
A huge congratulations to everyone who was shortlisted, named a finalist or took home an award - especially our friends at Love Media Group Ltd, Amy Mantle. Recognition like this doesn't happen by accident. It's the result of hard work, resilience, passion and commitment.
And a special thank you to everyone involved in organising both events, Chris Ponticorvo & Paula Davies.
Bringing people together to celebrate success and shine a spotlight on local talent is incredibly important.
Blackpool and the Fylde is home to some amazing people and businesses, and weekends like this are a great reminder of just how much there is to be proud of. 👏✨

Most cyber security risks don’t start with hackers.
They start with growth.
A new system gets added.
Then another.
Then a quick workaround.
Then an integration nobody has touched in years.
Before long, businesses are relying on a web of software, processes and connections that nobody fully understands anymore.
At Code Galaxy, we often uncover vulnerabilities while working on completely different projects.
🔍 Permissions that don’t work as intended.
🔍 Data exposed where it shouldn’t be.
🔍 Forgotten integrations.
🔍 Temporary fixes that became permanent.
Most of the time, it’s not negligence.
It’s just what happens when technology evolves faster than documentation.
That’s one of the reasons we’re launching Hacka AI this month 🚀
Designed to help organisations identify vulnerabilities, risks and blind spots before they become bigger problems.

The strongest brands create consistency before they create noise.
Every touchpoint matters.
Digital. Print. Social. Presentation. Advertising. Internal documentation.
When branding is aligned across every platform, businesses build familiarity, trust and professionalism without even needing to say a word.
Proud to support Back Academy and Backhouse Jones with ongoing print and digital design work that helps bring that consistency to life.
Design with purpose always wins.
