Early detection of breast cancer saves lives. Fact.
Our founder, Kate, is trekking in Montenegro with Giovanna Fletcher and a Coppafeel! fundraising team of women trekking in memory of loved ones lost to breast cancer or because they themselves have or are currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
Coppafeel! is a UK breast cancer awareness charity focused on young people. Founded by Kris Hallenga after a late-stage diagnosis at age 23, its mission is to end late detection of the disease by educating the public to know their bodies and check their chests monthly.
Kate lost a close friend a couple of years ago to breast cancer. Lisa was a young woman, a wife, a friend, a mum.
Please check out all of the resources and advice, and sign up for Coppafeel! alerts on their website - a quick text message each month to remind you to check your chest, and if you are able, you can donate to Kate's Coppafeel! trek fundraiser 🩷

In 2019, Lorraine and Kate met as Mini First Aid franchise owners. Little did they know, they'd end up as great friends as well as colleagues and now business partners. 💚
Today's "work" looked a little different... mimosas, breakfast, lots of laughter and working away on an exciting new venture together. 🥂✨
They can't wait to share more with you soon - watch this space!

When I'm not teaching first aid, I'm proud to volunteer with the wonderful charity Noah's Star, supporting families of premature and seriously ill babies and children at the Neonatal unit at The Birmingham Women’s Hospital. ❤️
📚 Can you help? 📚
Noah's Star is collecting NEW children's books for its 'Reading with Love' project at Birmingham Women's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Every family will receive a book bag containing 'Guess How Much I Love You', and each week parents can choose another book from the library to keep. The aim is to help families build a treasured collection of books and memories while supporting their baby's early development.
To make this project possible, they are looking for donations of NEW books suitable for babies and young children. If you'd like to help, you can purchase a book from the Amazon Wish List (linked in the comments).
Every book donated will make a real difference to families during one of the most challenging times in their lives.
Thank you for your support. 💙
