⚡ NEW INSTALLATION COMPLETED | BIOPAX LTD ⚡

PCM AIRPOWER recently completed a new compressed air installation for the team at BioPax in Belfast.

Following a detailed data logging exercise on the site's existing compressor, our team identified significant energy losses caused by unloaded running hours.

To improve efficiency, PCM AIRPOWER recommended and installed a new BOGE Variable Speed Drive (VSD) compressor, allowing the system to better match compressed air demand and minimise wasted energy.

The result?

💷 Estimated annual savings of £11,419

⚡ Estimated annual energy savings of 38,064 kWh

📈 Efficient operation between a 55% and 75% load profile

As a company committed to sustainable manufacturing, BioPax is also exploring additional energy-saving initiatives, including the potential use of compressor heat recovery technology.
