Our customer contacted CRB suspecting a burst pipe or a damp related issue after noticing damaging to their hall floor. CRB carried out a leak detection survey identifying a burst in the mains supply located underneath the hall floor screed.

Moisture readings and visible damage associated with water damage suggest all adjoining rooms were affected.

The Insurance company representative is suggesting that damage is limited to the hall floor and that other visible damage is as a result of a previous or separate incident!

CRB estimate repair costs alone to be upwards of 15K excluding alternative accommodation and removals/storage against 2k to replace hall floor and redecorate

Who is really scamming who?
