“WHAT’S THE CRAIC” - Culture & Folklore!
Join us at Fermanagh House on Wednesday the 23rd of March and share your memories of local ‘Culture & Folklore’! Can you recall those fireside yarns of myths, folktales and legends? Maybe you still sing childhood songs, and can remember games and dances passed down through the generations? Sharing these memories and stories with our team will help create a unique resource for future generations, and teach others about historic life in and around the Erne. These stories and more will be featured in our unique ‘Memory Map’ and offer a lasting legacy to take you deep into the heart of this historic county.

“WHAT’S THE CRAIC” - Domestic life in Fermanagh!
Join us at Fermanagh House on Wednesday the 23rd of March and share your earliest memories of ‘Domestic Life’ and living in historic Fermanagh. Tell us about traditional foods, the ‘spuds’, the harvest and open fire cooking. We would love to hear about your earliest childhood memories of family life, friends, and the remarkable self-sufficiency of communities. Can you recall the games you played, the rhymes you sang, and the fireside chats? Maybe you moved into social housing in the 30s? These memories and many more will help us, and future generations to remember and understand everyday living and ‘domestic life’ from Fermanagh’s most recent past.
