Thanks very much to Hare's Corner Cooperative for allowing Graham to visit, hear more about the Co-op as a whole, and the Incredible Edibles project that received funding through the RiverRidge Environmental Trust. It is amazing to see the hard work and dedication you put into improving the wellbeing and environment of the Garvagh community!

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Graham Curtis from RiverRidge Rethinking Resources to see how funding from the Trust is helping to support our Incredible Edibles project.

The funding has enabled us to develop community growing spaces, purchase materials, and create opportunities for local people to learn about growing food, healthy eating, and caring for the environment.

During his visit, Graham was able to see the fantastic progress being made, including our newly built planters which have been stencilled and are now being prepared for planting. He was also given a tour of our greenhouse space, where our herbs are being nurtured before finding their new homes around the community.

Thank you to Nonglak McFadden, who kindly made beautiful herb jars as a gift to mark the occasion.

We're incredibly grateful to RiverRidge Environmental Trust for their support. Their investment is helping us grow not only food, but also skills, confidence, connections, and community pride.

We’re proud to share that, through our Easter Charity Raffle, the RiverRidge team raised £477 in support of Northern Ireland Children's Hospice 💙

Supporting such an incredible cause is something we’re always honoured to do, helping make a difference for local children and families who need it most.
