Above all, Gateway 97.8 represents the myriad voices, tastes and expectations of our communities in this wonderfully vibrant part of South and Sou’west Essex. We won A Big Society award from the Prime Minister in 2011 which made us the first broadcaster in the UK to do so, and The Queen's Awards for Voluntary Service in 2012.
