A barn conversion originally - its fairly basic although well accommodated with two upstairs double rooms, one with a double bed and small kids bed / kids second mattress and upstairs toilet. Downstairs is open plan lounge with wood stove for the main heat supply (in addition to electric heaters), TV, DVD player, Wifi internet , small, modern kitchen, separate dining room, second small lounge area with double sofa bed and main bathroom (bath / shower)

Outside is covered patio area to the side with BBQ (main cooking for us!), plenty of firewood and a utility space full of kids toys, mountain and road bikes. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Large garden, open access to all the surrounding fields and mountain dirt roads at the end of the driveway with access to incredible mountain biking and hiking. Fishing on the farm next door. Loads to do in the surrounding area for outdoors enthusiasts and families – 1km walk down to a great restaurant, 5km to the local Zoo (Zoo d’assou). 40min drive to the tourist town of Lourdes which has an incredible Zoo just south (Parc d’animal Pyrenees) and stunning thermal baths (Jardin des bains). Loads of tourist spots around – lakeside beach / waterpark 30mins away, underground caves 30mins away. Biarritz – the classic beach town 1-5hr drive away……
