No. 11 - LE PETIT ST GERMAIN
Following a meticulous exploration of images capturing the decisive moment, the poster "Le Petit Saint-Germain - Au Bonheur des Dames" showcases the nobility of passionate kisses. Three visuals unveil ardent encounters, bearing witness to the eternal passion of women for love in the iconic district of Petit Saint-Germain.

The theatrical scenes from the 1950s captured in these photographs reveal a ray of carefree joy, illustrating the intense happiness of these ladies surrendering to passionate kisses. The poster evokes the spirit of romantic films from that era, recalling the magic of cinema and the intoxicating atmosphere of cinematic productions of that time. Among these works, "Les Amants de Montparnasse" (1958), directed by Jacques Becker, could be a notable example. Thus, this original artwork offers a captivating dive into an era where love, carefreeness, and cinema harmoniously merged.

No. 10 - BOULEVARD ST GERMAIN

Through meticulous research of images and photographs, the result of this investigation has captured that moment, that precious instant. In a palette of suggestive colors, the "Boulevard Saint-Germain" poster freezes the brilliance of a passionate kiss. Two silhouettes intertwine in a suspended moment, where the man, magnified on a poster, embodies the illusion of eternal love. A scene that evokes the charm of a "Ba**er volé," (Stolen Kiss) where a celebrity might lose themselves in the arms of a young haute couture creator.

During that time, Yves Saint Laurent and Catherine Deneuve collaborated closely, forming a significant professional and friendly relationship. One of their most famous collaborations was the film "Belle de Jour" directed by Luis Buñuel in 1967, where Catherine Deneuve wore creations by Yves Saint Laurent.

This poster, like a precious cinematic fragment, recalls the era when Boulevard Saint-Germain was the cradle of passionate encounters, marking the history of cinema and fashion.
