NOUSS’s fashion background started from a tender age, from sketches done in a school notebook. Her first glimpse of what would eventually drive her passion came in the form of beautiful traditional or African dresses worn by her mother. What convinced her (and most of all: others) that she had “something” was when the different tailors she usually appealed to always noticed how specific, unique, and well-drawn were the designs she ordered. These sketches started taking shape in reality in the form of fabric embellished dresses. Fast-forward to today, her self-titled fashion line represents parts of Cameroon and African culture with a modern twist that are intriguing, beautiful and fun. Her designs have sensual style and refined hand embroidery. The styling suits all body types and are generally loose, comfortable, appealing to the eye, and elegant.
