Los Angeles, 2010. Can you ever really plan a moment like this? That day, Damion "Crazy Legs" Hall, the legendary singer from the group Guy, welcomed me into his home.
We ended up freestyling for over thirty minutes, pure soul and raw energy. But that wasn’t all. He also sat down with me to share insights for the book I was writing on the history of R&B, which was released two years later (available on Amazon).
The highlight? It was his brother Aaron Hall’s birthday. We actually called him up and sang "Happy Birthday" together over the phone. An unforgettable moment of music and brotherhood. 🎙️✨ 🙏🏼🙏🏼
