Happy Millionversary to “Désir”, the first single of AZADI (EP) released in 2019. For this special occasion I’d like to share a few BTS content from the music video directed . It was one of the most aesthetical experience in my life and I am endlessly grateful for it. Thank you & .production for making this happen, thank you for the performance and thank you to all the team that believed in it and made their best for the sake of poetry & desire.

A few hours before boarding to Warsaw where the filming took place, I learnt my uncle’s su***de. My eyes look disastrous and swollen all along the video because I was in a state of internal and external disconnection. My acting is chaotic and disoriented, It wasn’t supposed to be like this. The impermanence of life makes us vulnerable and we are doing our best out of it - very much aligned with the song’s narrative after all.
