How can we address the fashion waste problem?

Collaboration is key – legislation, startups, manufacturers, and fashion brands are working together to explore alternatives to the current linear fashion economy. The is finalizing the (Ecodesign) legislation by the year's end, prompting brands to rethink their approach to stock by prioritising reselling, donation, or recycling over the environmentally harmful practice of incineration.

Additionally brands will have to implement digital product passports that trace data along the lifecycles including overstock. Having this data is important to unlock over the time the possibility to standardise reporting along the lifecycle of garments and ultimately fight greenwashing.
