Congratulations to our client PYR – Pierre-Yves Rochon on the beautiful interiors for Tour Mohammed VI in Rabat, the tallest tower on the African continent, inaugurated in April.

Developed over eight years, this important project aptly reflects PYR’s signature approach to luxury interiors: timeless elegance, architectural fluidity, and exceptional attention to craftsmanship, while drawing deeply on the richness of Moroccan artisanal heritage.

Bringing together the Waldorf Astoria Rabat-Salé, residences, offices, cultural spaces and a gastronomic destination by Alain Ducasse within a single landmark tower, the project represents a new expression of contemporary luxury in Morocco.

The interiors feature hand-laid zellige, sculpted plasterwork, ferronnerie ciselée, carved wood, marble marquetry, handwoven textiles and other traditional crafts executed by master artisans from Rabat, Salé, Fès, Meknès and Marrakech, transforming local savoir-faire into a contemporary landmark of international stature.

Step into the visionary world of Joris Laarman with SYMBIO, now on view at Friedman Benda in New York, the Dutch designer’s first solo exhibition in the city in nearly a decade.

The show brings together two groundbreaking bodies of work at the intersection of technology, nature, sculpture and science, imagining a regenerative future for contemporary design.

The Ply Loop series transforms plywood into fluid, almost living forms using an innovative biodegradable resin, while the Symbio benches, 3D printed in carbon storing concrete and infused with bio active surfaces, are designed to grow alongside mosses and lichens over time.

Blending computation, craftsmanship, architecture and ecology, Laarman’s work proposes a rare and optimistic vision of the future, one in which design becomes not only an act of creation, but also a gesture of coexistence and renewal.
