The Douglas is a boutique hotel new to Savannah as of last year, but the building itself holds many different chapters of history since its beginning as a private residence in the 1850s. Newly restored and thoughtfully designed (.caldwell.inc), this place truly feels like home away from home. Walking throughout this hotel instantly feels like it’s your own space for hosting, living, and relaxing. The hallways are grand, the parlor sparks conversation, and the private bar feels like stumbling upon the best hidden gem in town (which it is).
