“Block Party” by Shoot the Gift featuring Fluency MC (second verse and chorus) 🎤 When off I let it, the bill I head it, the crowd I wet it. Energy is kinetic; when I set it you sweat it, so come and get it, the memetics stick, stuck up in your cranium. Flu up in their brains, son, containing them and draining them of ignoramus thinking. Connect the dots with the lines that I’m linking; to comprehend you need to give it time to sink in. Remain complacent it’s the Kool Aid you’ve been drinking; don’t wait dumbstruck, blinking. Come out from where
you’re from; you’ll see the whole world is shrinking. A block party mentality is what you need, no matter where you come from or what your creed. If you truly believe in greater unity, then build it at all levels of community. A block party mentality around the globe, no matter where you go or who you know. If you truly care about humanity, plan to expand and span your fam radically. fluencymc

“This is not the end” by Shoot the Gift, lyrics by Fluency MC (2nd verse) 🎤 I get tired when I look outside of these walls, but not because my life’s hard; though I’ve never known God, I know I’ve been blessed, never the subject of daily tests of how much stress a human being can take and not break from lack of rest, never fully awake. I see them hurry to wait for the subway doors. Line up for Lotto, the poor man’s tax at the corner stores. Working on the weekends, time-and-a half, so there’s no quality time to be had with mom or dad, stroll down a garden path, share a laugh with your better half. Instead you take the shaft. You want products and fast cash? They want you on your knees; who are you on this earth to please?

“Winners” by Shoot the Gift featuring Fluency MC (2nd verse) It was tough growing up, hunger pangs, flat pockets, danger on the block when she’d walk to the market, as a girl up against an unforgiving world.
She was brilliant and loving. At school they told her she was nothing, said her life was a mess, that she’d never progress, best to face the truth of underprivileged youth. But this young lady wasn’t having it, brass ring she
was grabbing it. Her pride they despised; her inner strength they were mad at it. She had an intellect that demanded respect. Barriers they could erect,
her dream she’d protect. She’d stay in full effect; she’d never once disconnect until she’d made it. Her shine they’d never fade it. Though you can’t control what you’re handed, your life you can command it like you planned it.

“Winners” by 🎯 Shoot the Gift 🎁 featuring Fluency MC (1st verse) 🎤 Born into wealth, in perfect health, he was taught he was the best, superior to the rest. They guessed he had it made, had talent in spades, all the right DNA. He’d go all the way. But he got bad grades and didn’t
fit in. Ganged up on in school, they played him for a fool. He didn’t play by their rules. This life he didn’t need it. To his core he wasn’t racist, elitist, or conceited. Found the door and kicked it open; full of fear but unbroken,
he left all he’d known and forged ahead all alone. He stayed in his zone and as a man fully grown, he began a new family of his own. Though you can’t control what you’re handed,
your life you can command it like you planned it.
