In the dim lit gallery rooms showcasing Basquiat’s iconic paintings, multimedia projections and sonic experiences grant us the privilege of time travelling back to that wild, magical New York underground scene.

Seeing Loud: Basquiat and Music is the first large-scale exhibition devoted to the role of music in Basquiat’s life and work.
