🇫🇷 Il y a un endroit qui vous a marqué? Un endroit où vous pourriez revenir plusieurs fois sans jamais vous lasser?

Le mien est juste ici, sur la plage de Stokksnes avec Vestrahorn en arrière plan. Ça fait déjà plusieurs fois que j’y retourne mais je garde toujours le même sentiment d’excitation et d’émerveillement.

🇬🇧 Is there a place that left a mark on you, a place you would happily go back to many times without being bored?

For me it’s this place, Stokksnes overlooked by the magnificent Vestrahorn. I have been quite a few times already but I still feel the same excitement and wonder every time I set foot on the beach.

🇫🇷 Saviez vous que dans les années 60 la NASA a envoyé ses astronautes s’entraîner en Islande afin de préparer leur atterrissage sur la Lune. En même temps avec autant de cratères et forme volcanique il y a clairement de quoi se sentir sur une autre planète.

🇬🇧 Did you know that back in the 60’s NASA decided to train their astronauts in Iceland in preparation of the moon landing.
No wonder with a landscape that totally makes you feel like you are on another planet.

🇫🇷 Si vous deviez choisir un endroit qui vous a marqué cette année ce serait lequel. Même s’il y en a eu plusieurs pour nous je pense que les Highlands en Islande et cet endroit plus particulièrement se positionne au top. On avait l’impression de se retrouver devant un tableau tellement les photos paraissaient irréelles.

🇬🇧 If you had to choose one place that blew your socks off this year where would it be? There was quite a few of them for us but I would put the Highlands of Iceland at the very top of the list and especially this place. Felt like every photo we took turned into a painting.
