Flowers have long been part of the magic at The Dorchester. From the magnificent urns of The Promenade to arrangements throughout the hotel, each week brings a new expression of colour, beauty and the changing seasons.

Led by Head Florist Phil Hammond, who has devoted almost 17 years to the hotel, these extraordinary installations are a labour of love. Every Wednesday, work begins at 3am, with over 2,000 fresh stems of flowers and foliage bringing the lobby and The Promenade to life.

Among them is The Dorchester Rose, a bespoke bloom seven years in the making, created exclusively for the hotel. With its delicate peach-blush petals, it has become a beautiful expression of The Dorchester's floral heritage.

Along the storied arcades of rue de Rivoil, Le Meurice has been part of the Parisian landscape since 1835. Overlooking the Tuileries Garden, its elegant façade and celebrated entrance offer a glimpse into a history shaped by artists, royalty and generations of Parisian life.

Beneath its distinctive green awnings, the hotel's doormen carry forward a cherished tradition of welcome. Underfoot, intricate mosaics depict the hotel's historic greyhound emblem, inspired by a stray dog adopted during renovations over a century ago. From these treasured details to the familiar faces at its entrance, the enduring character and charm of Le Meurice lives on.
